How it works

The daily pipeline, end to end.

Two researched ideas publish every day. Each step feeds the next; the whole flow runs unattended and deploys itself.

01 Sources complaints · trends · tools · companies · adoption · hiring · regulation
02 Generate two researched ideas/day (curated + trend)
03 Validate 5-criterion weighted rubric → verdict
04 Graph typed entities + provenance edges, fingerprinted

Scoring

How the verdict is made.

Every report is scored against five weighted criteria (rubric INAV-VALIDATION-2026-06-04). The verdict band follows the total.

5 criteria
Demand signal 24%

Visible pull from search, trend, workflow, community, or source-backed evidence.

Problem severity 22%

How painful, repeated, risky, or expensive the buyer problem appears to be.

Willingness to pay 20%

Clarity that a buyer owns budget or already spends time, money, or reputation on the job.

Competitive saturation 18%

How much room remains after incumbents, substitutes, and broad AI tools are considered.

Feasibility 16%

Realism of shipping and validating the first useful workflow with a small team.

Rethink 0–49
Research 50–64
Validate 65–79

Read & discover

Finding ideas

The front door. Every visitor can read the full archive with no account and no paywall; personalization is optional and stays in your browser.

Today

live

The newest published opportunity brief, with prev/next navigation.

The generator publishes daily from the Mac-mini pipeline; /today/ resolves to the highest-dated report.

/today/

Archive

live

The full back-catalogue, filterable by market, vertical, difficulty, confidence, tag, and save state.

A static index over every report's frontmatter; filtering and saves are client-side.

/archive/

Search

live

Site-wide search across ideas, verticals, playbooks, collections, tags, and pages.

Runs against a prebuilt /search-index.json; a query can be saved as a standing monitor.

/search/

For You

local-first

Recommended reports for your founder profile that learn from what you save, hide, and open.

The v2 recommender blends archetype + keyword fit with a local affinity vector; empty history reproduces the neutral ranking exactly.

/for-you/

Tags

live

Every tag with its idea count and a per-tag analysis page (markets, related ideas, risks).

Generated at build time from report tags.

/tags/

Updates

live

The editorial feed of new ideas, trends, and market shifts.

Content-driven; the mechanical entity-level record lives at /changes/.

/updates/

The core artifact

Anatomy of an idea report

Every report is a decision instrument, not a prompt. One page carries the verdict, the evidence behind it, the economics, and everything needed to test or build — plus machine-readable exports for agents.

Verdict (Build / Validate / Research / Rethink), 0–100 score, confidence, and this-week's test up top.

A 5-criterion weighted rubric scores every report; see the Validation section below.

/today/

7-day validation sprint

A dated day-1→day-7 plan to test the riskiest assumption cheaply.

Derived deterministically from the report's buyer, evidence, and validation test.

Economics & offer ladder

Price-anchored revenue scenarios (proof / wedge / vertical-leader) and a tiered offer.

Computed from the report's monetization model and buyer.

Audience intelligence

live

Segments, channels, intent keywords, messaging angles, and objections per report (HTML + .md, per idea at /audience/<slug>/).

Derived from buyer, problem, and community signals.

Time-to-execute score, bottlenecks, accelerators, and a dated launch plan (HTML + .md + .ics).

A readiness model over the execution plan; the launch plan exports to your calendar.

/execution-scorecard/

Connections block

graph

The report's links in the intelligence graph: complaint evidence, trend seed, adjacent verticals, sibling reports — each with provenance.

Precomputed from the ontology graph; declared evidence is shown before inferred.

Competitive landscape & 'who's moving here'

Incumbents, substitutes, whitespace, plus public companies/funding the graph links to the vertical.

Prose analysis joined with the company/funding signal lane.

Lifecycle & timing window

graph

A stage (Emerging→Validating→Heating→Crowding→Cooling) and a 0–100 market-timing score.

Deterministic rules over re-check trajectory, demand, saturation, and complaint decay.

Pivot map, founder lens, roast

Adjacent wedges, founder-fit scoring, and a hard-questions 'roast' of blind spots.

All derived from the report's structured frontmatter.

Exports

agents

Each report as .json, .md, .ics (calendar), backlog.json (GitHub/Linear issues), and a print/PDF dossier.

Static endpoints + a chromium print-to-PDF step in the pipeline.

/developers/

Top-down intelligence

Vertical & market intelligence

Every report is classified into a fixed 14-industry ontology, then rolled up so you can see where validated signal concentrates and where the whitespace is.

All 14 verticals ranked by opportunity score.

A deterministic keyword classifier assigns each report a primary vertical.

/verticals/

Per-industry: pain points, feature gaps, underserved segments, buyer personas, keywords, communities, verdict mix, momentum, and a 30-day change feed.

Aggregated from every report in the vertical, plus a vertical-weighted rubric overlay.

/verticals/

The cross-vertical command deck: opportunity league table, verdict heatmap, whitespace radar, evidence-flow, cross-vertical bridges, orphaned-evidence radar, momentum, and a what-changed strip.

Built from the vertical brief + the intelligence graph.

/intelligence/

Themes

live

Emergent, bottom-up clusters that cut across the fixed verticals.

Deterministic union-find over shared significant terms between reports.

/themes/

The score distribution, exactly which criterion blocks each near-miss from Build, and a graph-grounded thesis-confidence signal.

Makes the rubric threshold a measured choice, not a guess.

/calibration/

The ontology spine

The intelligence graph

One typed, provenance-stamped knowledge graph sits under everything: 13 entity types and the links between them, fingerprinted on every publish so you can see what changed and when. Built at build time — no database, no runtime cost.

An interactive force-directed map of the whole ontology; click a node for its neighborhood and edge provenance.

Client-side render over /graph.json with a deterministic seed layout.

/explore/

A browsable page per non-report node — clusters, trends, tools, companies, funding, adoption signals, regulations, job roles, personas, keywords, communities.

Generated for every entity with enough links to be worth a page.

/entity/

Change log

live

The mechanical, entity-level diff ledger: what was added, updated, or removed, filterable by vertical and entity type.

A daily fingerprint of the graph; corruption-guarded and idempotent.

/changes/

An independence score per report: how many distinct source domains back it, the declared/classified/inferred mix, and a single-source-family flag.

Aggregates per-edge provenance across all evidence lanes.

/provenance/

Momentum

graph

Weekly time-series per vertical from the change ledger — which industries are gaining over time.

ISO-week aggregation with sparklines; richer every day.

/intelligence/

How each publish-week's ideas age as a group (30/60/90-day survival).

Replays the ledger + re-check signals at each age band.

/cohorts/

graph.json

endpoint

The full graph: typed entities + provenance-stamped edges (INAV-GRAPH-1).

Static endpoint; the same data behind every graph surface and the MCP graph tools.

/graph.json

Honest scoring

Validation & decision tools

The product is built to test, not to hype. The verdict is a transparent weighted rubric, the bar is real (a near-zero Build rate), and several surfaces help a team turn a report into a defensible decision.

Validation rubric

live

Five weighted criteria — demand, severity, willingness-to-pay, saturation, feasibility — scored 1–10 with reasoning and evidence.

Versioned rubric; see the weights chart above. Verdict bands: Build ≥80, Validate 65–79, Research 50–64, Rethink <50.

Vertical-weighted re-scoring (e.g. liability-bearing severity counts more in healthcare/legal).

14 weight profiles, each summing to 1, applied over the same criterion scores.

/verticals/

Decision memo builder

local-first

An exportable go/no-go memo (per idea at /decision-memo/<slug>/): verdict + kill criteria + your team's stance + recommendation.

Assembled from frontmatter plus local inputs; exports to Markdown/print and can be shared as a link.

Head-to-head pages

live

'Idea A vs Idea B' decision matrices (at /vs/<a>--vs--<b>/) comparing validation, economics, difficulty, and founder fit.

A curated, capped set of genuinely comparable pairs (~167), with JSON-LD and a .json companion.

Where ideas come from

Evidence & data sources

Ideas are seeded from real, mined signal — not vibes. Multiple lanes feed the graph, and the newer lanes turn it from a presence map into a velocity-and-timing map.

Complaint mining

pipeline

Clustered user complaints from public developer sources.

Mined daily, clustered, and linked to reports as declared evidence.

Trend bridge

pipeline

Live trending terms that seed slot-2 daily ideas.

Fetched from the Stenvrik bridge; topic-gated.

/trends/

A weekly snapshot of the AI assistant/tooling market.

Generated weekly; tools enter the graph.

/weekly/

Company & funding signals

graph

Public competitors and funding rounds, linked to verticals and reports.

Curated seed + fail-soft fetcher; powers the 'who's moving here' panel.

Adoption-velocity lane

graph

Real npm/PyPI/GitHub download & star slopes — a quantitative demand signal.

Dated time-series appended daily; feeds momentum and thesis confidence.

Hiring-signal lane

graph

Public job-posting volume as a budget-confirmed demand proxy per vertical.

Fail-soft fetch; corroborates persona entities.

Regulatory-clock lane

graph

Future compliance deadlines whose urgency grows as the date nears.

Federal-register-style records; drives 'why now' and monitor alerts.

Vertical evidence packs

pipeline

Per-vertical public sources feeding under-served industries (healthcare, education, government, nonprofits).

A source-pack framework merged into the complaint flow.

Reach & accountability

Distribution & track record

The boldest honesty moves: a public record of how the site's verdicts aged, and a verified ledger of where its ideas were republished.

Verified 'Featured in' reach: live placements, backlink rate, and reach by vertical.

Verifies the syndication log against live URLs; feeds targeting back into the loop.

/distribution/

The weekly State-of-the-Opportunity-Map summary, with trailing history.

Generated weekly; emailed Mondays when configured.

/weekly/

Newsletter

live

An opt-in daily digest of the new idea.

Server holds no secrets; the Mac mini sends via the email provider.
